How do I use the recordings tab on my catalog page?

The recordings tab contains recordings you’ve uploaded or added to your catalog. You can access your recordings by clicking Recordings.

Recordings are organized similarly to My Songs, but with different sorting options.

Recording searching

You can perform a local search in the recordings tab that will return all files matching your search criteria. To learn more about searching, click here.

Recording sorting

Just like in My Songs, you can sort your recordings. You can sort your recordings by:

  • Type
  • Title
  • Artist
  • Album
  • ISRC
  • UPC
  • BPM
  • Length
  • Label
  • Modified Date
  • Released Date

Note: If it’s a downloadable recording, click the download icon to download it either as a Songspace-converted MP3 or the original file uploaded to Songspace. You cannot download recordings from Spotify, Soundcloud, or YouTube.

Recording options

You can perform a lot of recording tasks without actually having to open the recording.

Just like in My Songs, these options can be accessed by right-clicking a recording or you can select a recording and the Catalog toolbar will appear.

Note: Multiple recording options are only accessible via the Catalog toolbar.

Here are the options for single recordings:

  • Edit recording
  • Download recording
  • Share recording
  • Recording details
  • Create song
  • Add to folder
  • Make Public/Private
  • Delete

Here are the options for multiple recordings:

  • Open bulk editor
  • Create songs from recordings (only available for recordings)
  • Create one song from multiple recordings (only available for recordings)
  • Add to folder
  • Make Public
  • Make Private
  • Delete
